Case Studies & Testimonials
With over twelve years of experience our eco-friendly, modular classrooms have reached the pinnacle of design and efficiency resulting in award winning constructions and a portfolio of over 700 buildings.
Here we have presented just a few of the projects we have helped design for schools, colleges and nurseries across the UK, ranging from simple classrooms to functions as diverse as art blocks, training rooms and outdoor learning spaces.
Swalcliffe Park School, Banbury
Performing Arts Studio
This specialist school for pupils with autism wanted a place for their pupils to express themselves and feel comfortable in a relaxed, open space. Using our eco-classroom design for their performing arts studio, the school has since opened the facility up to the local village community, utilising its space and function to exhibit local art and the pupils’ talent.
“It’s been amazing how it’s transformed how we work as a school and what the boys are getting out of it.” Kiran Hingorani, Principal
“It gives them their own space for them to come and use whenever they want…” Enrique Sanchez, Residential Care Worker
Sacred Heart Primary School, Coventry
Eco-Teacher Training Room
Short for space and desperately needing somewhere for their delegates to train, Sacred Heart Primary School opted for an eco-classroom that fitted into their surroundings and provided a modern, open space for their teacher training courses.
“I couldn’t believe how quickly the building shot up…. It just fits in beautifully with our whole environment…”
Paul Madia, Head of School
Shotton Hall Academy, Peterlee
Eco-Classroom Block
An expanding school in the North East, Shotton Hall needed a permanent solution to additional classroom space and teacher training facilities. Due to the academy’s geography, a brick and mortar building was unsuitable however the Learning Escape classroom block presented itself as an ideal alternative.
“It was really a marvellous solution for what we wanted to do.”
Jake Cameron, School Governor
Bickley Park School, Bromley
Eco-Nursery
Bickley Park was seeing their pupils’ numbers increasing at a rapid rate and needed a new nursery for those coming into the school. Keen to have a new building which was sustainable and energy efficient, we provided the school with the perfect open learning space which was both eco-friendly and a stimulating learning environment for children.
“Eco credentials were a very, very important aspect of this project for us and we were delighted with the options they had available to us.”
Sam Patel, Director of School Development
Danesfield Manor School, Walton-on-Thames
Eco-Classroom Block
Needing a building which could be built around the working environment of a school and provide an open space for children to connect with the outdoors, Danesfield Manor School in Surrey found their ideal solution in our eco-classroom.
“We wanted someone to come in, be able to work around us and really sympathise and emphasise with what we needed as a school.
They’ve surpassed, in many ways, our expectations” Mrs Chalmers, Principal
Woolwich Polytechnic Secondary School
Multi Storey Art Block
Woolwich Polytechnic’s art department had been reduced to using temporary, portable classrooms that were simply unsuitable for their needs. However, with our two storey classroom block, the department was able to have a light and spacious building that served not only to bring the department together but inspire and showcase their pupils’ work. This was the first of 3 build stages of a modular block which now provides accommodation for up to 600 pupils.
“It’s light, airy, feels very connected to the outdoor space.” Tina Conti, Head of Art
“You have the outside coming into your classroom…” Laura Goodwin, Art Teacher
